Hi, I'm

Certified Nutritional therapy Practitioner & Functional Nutritionist

Hi, I’m Christen — I’m really glad you’re here.

If you’ve landed here, chances are you’re navigating something that feels complex, heavy, or just plain hard to figure out. I know that place well — the questions, the appointments, the trying-all-the-things, the moments where you just want someone to see the whole picture.

My work is rooted in helping you reconnect with your body, uncover root causes, and find clarity in the chaos. I believe healing doesn’t come from chasing perfect, but from honoring what’s real — your story, your symptoms, your resilience, and your rhythms.

I’m a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Restorative Wellness Practitioner (Level 1, focused on gut healing), and certified health and wellness coach. I also hold a Master’s in Public Health Nutrition from UNC Chapel Hill and additional certifications in holistic nutrition, human development, and psychology.

More than anything, though, my work is shaped by lived experience — navigating chronic illness, medical gaslighting, and the long road of figuring out what helps and what harms. That’s what led me to shift my practice: to support folks with complex conditions like Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, POTS, MCAS, chronic fatigue, and digestive disorders who deserve more than band-aid solutions.

In this space, you’ll find a mix of science and soul. Practical support and deep listening. Data and discernment. We build a plan that fits you — your body, your life, and your capacity. And we leave space for joy, too.

I live just outside D.C. with my husband Robert (an Army veteran) and our three dogs: Frankie, Allie, and Daisy — who joined our crew after we said goodbye to our sweet Colby. I’m a plant lover, playlist maker, and someone who believes in slow mornings and second chances.

Wherever you are in your healing, I’d be honored to walk with you.
